A Black Pacman or Lilypad Shape - A common symbol used for buttons in the magazine.

Hello, welcome to the magazine. Can you find the next page?

To the people who've been bullied until their self-expression is dominated by the crowd around them,

they've been swallowed,

preyed upon by many institutions,

interested in art and design,

and they want a school,

they want a source code to draw from,

I have an alternative,

I have THE solution,

I affirm people in their individuality,

and I want you to rediscover yours,

it's ugly to me,

a group of people that don't know individuality,

think freely,

what are you going to do when there's nobody around you to tell you right and wrong,

come,

let's dissect beauty,

dissect life,

there's beauty around every corner,

and you're too anxious to experience it,

money has been ripped out of your hands,

you've been convinced you can't do it without an institution or a design school to lead you to your goals,

much more can be covered in an hour,

in seven pages of a magazine,

than a full four years of a design university,

of a false promise,

the alternative does not lie in the mainstream dominated by this culture,

I provide the real alternative,

a group of friends,

breaking down beauty and themes,

realizing truth,

Noctis Kai,

a victory in the night,

a light in the dark.

This is all you need to create. Through all the modern methods, all you truly need is this here. This is square one. Get any supplies you want after this. A ruler. A measurement sheet. A sketchpad to illustrate your ideas. But if you have a vision and a pencil, the only piece of the puzzle that’s missing is this here. Go. Check out the link and come back.

What's this?

Light In The Dark

The night is more alive than ever. The custom habitats humans built keep the sun's presence continued after sunset. The sun has found its way into our apartments. The next step is for it to find its way into you. But what has found its way into the sun? It's already in you. You don't need the sun for the deep, internal part of you. There's something more that shines bright through all weather. It's why you connect with the streetlights. It's why you connect with diamonds. A flicker in the distance is magnetic to the other polarity flickering in you. A flicker in the distance brings contentment, as it reassures you that it's there in you already. You don't need to go to the light. You're not a mosquito. If you're dark on the inside, you might need to go to the light. But a light in the distance brings you contentment because it reminds you that there's a light in you. It pushes you back into yourself. Magnetism. Opposites attract, but a like repels you. It doesn't push you away, but you feel the force telling you you're okay right where you are. First, it was the moon at night, reminding you you're still good, even in the dark, without the sun in your eyes. And now, it's become so vibrant in the city all around us. An apartment with a view of the city lights, or on top of a hill looking down at the city, is peaceful because you see you don't need to be everywhere all at once. You're another light on the skyline. It reminds you of a oneness with the environment. It resonates. It affirms. It reinforces. It repels you from outside seeking, back to your internal experience.

Thinking Is Not Seeing

Thinking is not seeing. Seeing doesn't require concentration, it's a constant feed. Thinking is not the act of creating thoughts, it's the act of concentrating on those thoughts. And by concentrating on thoughts, you leave behind your sight. Seeing is the solution to the equation. Thinking is trying to calculate a solution through the many parts.

You see, when looking at the shoes, or any subject, it takes a moment to see it. Before you start thinking about what to name it, or how to describe it, you first have to see it. And in that moment, there's not thought, it's just seeing. Now, you can look at it and make a very long-winded description, and a very thoughtful, metaphorical, and symbolic name for the shoes. But the truth is, the longer you look at it, the more details you'll pick up on. You don't need complicated and long-winded descriptions of a subject, it can be beautiful and poetic without being overworded. Sure, there's an art in describing things, and you can describe one detail, one piece of the puzzle, in great depth. But when you look at the shoes, the longer you look without thinking, the more details you will pick up. Now, when I ask you to describe the shoes, I want as many details as possible, and I don't need it to be long-winded for each detail. Ten details about the shoes is better than one detail that's long-winded, that is not insightful into the shoes, but is just insightful into one detail, but forgets the whole.
